OJIBWAY HISTORICAL PRESERVATION SOCIETY
PURPOSE
The Ojibway Historical Preservation Society's sole purpose is to: "restore, preserve and protect those structures in the Pointe au Baril, Ontario area designated as historically and architecturally significant pursuant to the Ontario Heritage Act".
Of the Ojibway Club's structures, the following are designated historically and architecturally significant:
o Grocery Store
o Gift Shop
o "Birchwood Cottage"
o "Elmwood Cottage"
o "Maplewood Cottage"
o "Oakwood Cottage"
o Dance Hall (aka Movie Hut)
o Crafts Building
o Bathing Pavillion
o Gazebo
o The "Doctor's Office"
o The Post Office
o The Laundry

All electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, docks, life safety and similar infrastructures required for the safe operation and preservation from fire and other similar destructive forces in or in respect of the Buildings.

All prior structures and historical uses such as the Stable, Electrical Shed, Incinerator, Water Tower, pathways, gazebos and bridges and similar structures or items of historical importance.
Every donation made to the Ojibway Historical Preservation Society is tax deductible in Canada. Every donation made to the Royal Oak Society and designated to the Ojibway Historical Preservation Society is tax deductible in the United States.
